StratQuent Launches CapX Accelerator, a Capital Access Platform Built for a Connected World

Reagan Sirengo joins the firm as Partner to lead the new platform

NEW YORK, Aug. 25, 2026 — StratQuent, a capital markets and strategic advisory firm, today announced the launch of CapX Accelerator, a structured capital access program that takes companies from a first institutional raise through a warm investor introduction, wherever in the world that company is already building.

The firm also announced that Reagan Sirengo has joined StratQuent as Partner, and will lead CapX Accelerator as its own Partner within the platform, owning its platform architecture, program design, and operator experience.

CapX Accelerator borrows the structure that has made the traditional accelerator model work, batch cohorts, rigorous selection, a fixed curriculum, and a culminating investor event, and builds a fully digital platform around it, connecting founders to institutional capital, commercial networks, and advisory capacity directly, on a program fee structure designed for companies working across borders.

The program runs across three tracks. The Capital Readiness Program serves early and growth-stage companies preparing for a first institutional raise, in cohorts of four to six companies on a quarterly intake. The Accelerated Program serves companies with a live capital event that cannot wait for the next cohort. The Growth and Capital Program serves established, revenue-generating businesses at a strategic inflection point, spanning capital raise advisory, commercial growth advisory, and operational advisory.

Each company in the Capital Readiness and Accelerated tracks moves through six phases: a situation diagnostic, capital architecture, a value creation plan, an investor narrative, data room preparation, and a warm investor introduction matched to the company's stage, geography, and instrument.

About Reagan Sirengo

Reagan brings more than a decade of product design experience across enterprise software, consumer technology, and global technology infrastructure. As a senior product designer, he has shaped user experience and platform architecture at SAP, one of the world's largest enterprise software companies; at Zillow Group, on consumer-facing real estate technology used by millions of households; and at IBM, across its global technology and consulting practice. His work has also extended into the public and civic sector, with consulting engagements for the United Nations and the American Institute of Architects, bringing the same design discipline to institutional and policy-facing platforms that he has applied to consumer products. Reagan is also co-founder of Userbrite LLC, a UX and visual design consultancy, which he continues to lead alongside his new role at StratQuent. He is based in Los Angeles.

“CapX Accelerator is built for a connected world. A founder building a real business shouldn’t have to choose between where their company already is and where the capital happens to sit. We kept what actually works about the accelerator model and rebuilt the platform around a founder who's already exactly where they need to be.”

Zack Mukewa, Founder and Managing Partner, StratQuent

“A digital accelerator is a product problem before it’s anything else. The gap between a good idea for a program and a program that actually works for a founder in a different time zone is a design problem. That’s the work in front of me: the application portal, the data room, the Deal Room, built so the digital version does the same job the in-person version was always meant to do.”

Reagan Sirengo, Partner

“The operational discipline is the same as any full advisory mandate. A cohort has milestones, a timeline, and an outcome it’s accountable to. We’re running CapX Accelerator the way we run every engagement at this firm, not as a side project.”

Nicholas Taylor, Partner, StratQuent

StratQuent will run a single pilot cohort through the Capital Readiness Program before opening additional tracks, with the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa as its starting markets, building on the firm's existing operating history and investor relationships in both regions.

StratQuent Completes Capital Access Engagement for Battery Materials Company

Systematic institutional capital access outreach across venture, strategic, and family office capital pools for a pre-commercial equity round, extending into a full market assessment and multi-pathway financing strategy for a battery materials company.

The engagement began with a targeted capital access campaign, positioning the company's pre-commercial equity round to venture, strategic, and family office capital pools with a mandate-specific fit. As the raise progressed, the scope expanded into a full market assessment, evaluating the company's competitive position, financing options, and the sequencing of a multi-pathway strategy spanning equity, strategic partnership, and non-dilutive capital.

“Battery materials companies raising pre-commercial capital face a specific problem: the investor universe that understands the technology risk is narrow, and getting in front of the right names matters more than getting in front of many names. That's the outreach we built.”

Zack Mukewa, Founder and Managing Partner, StratQuent

“The market assessment work runs on the same discipline as every StratQuent mandate: know exactly where the company stands before recommending where it goes next.”

Nicholas Taylor, Partner, StratQuent

“StratQuent brought us a level of investor targeting we hadn't been able to reach on our own, and the market assessment gave us a clearer view of our own financing path than we had going in.”

StratQuent Advises Renewable Energy Company on Capital Markets Readiness

Capital markets advisory and narrative development in connection with a large-scale institutional capital raise supporting a renewable fuels commercialization pipeline.

StratQuent provided capital markets advisory support to a renewable energy company preparing for a large-scale institutional capital raise tied to its fuels commercialization pipeline. The engagement covered capital structure input, investor narrative development, and transaction readiness work ahead of the company's next stage of institutional engagement.

“A commercialization-stage raise this size lives or dies on whether the narrative actually matches the underlying numbers. That alignment was the core of this engagement.”

Zack Mukewa, Founder and Managing Partner, StratQuent

“Transaction readiness at this scale means the diligence materials, the structure, and the narrative all have to hold together under real scrutiny before a single investor conversation happens.”

Nicholas Taylor, Partner, StratQuent

“Getting our capital markets positioning right before we went to institutional investors made every subsequent conversation more productive.”

StratQuent Advises on Cross-Border Corporate Transaction

M&A advisory services in connection with a cross-border corporate transaction for a client in the transportation and logistics sector.

StratQuent served as advisor on a complex, cross-border transaction for a transportation and logistics client, drawing on the firm's transactions and M&A capability alongside its capital markets advisory practice. The engagement involved financial structuring, cross-border regulatory coordination, and multi-party negotiation carried through to close.

“Cross-border transactions carry a different kind of complexity, multiple regulatory regimes, multiple stakeholders, and a timeline that has to hold across all of them at once. That's the work we're built for.”

Zack Mukewa, Founder and Managing Partner, StratQuent

“Execution on a transaction like this comes down to the same thing it always does: a clear structure, a disciplined timeline, and no surprises at close.”

Nicholas Taylor, Partner, StratQuent

“StratQuent's team managed a genuinely complex process and kept us focused on the decisions that actually mattered.”
